The Company

Your hardest calls are ones we have already made.

Most companies arrive with a method and go looking for a market. Pitot arrived the other way round. Two decades inside premium brands — motorsport, luxury automotive, telematics — produced one uncomfortable observation: the version of a brand that now reaches most buyers is assembled by a machine, from sources the brand does not control, and nobody whose job depends on that brand can see it. We built the instrument we wanted and could not find. The measurement came first. Pitot Group followed: a strategic marketing and artificial intelligence company, built on proprietary systems.

We cut through the noise, protect your budget, and deliver.

Why “Pitot”

The instrument that reads true airspeed

A pitot tube tells an aircraft its true speed when the pilot’s senses cannot be trusted — at altitude, in cloud, at night.

We took the name deliberately.

The metaphor
In an AI-mediated market, a brand’s instinct for how it is perceived is exactly the instrument that fails first. Pitot is the reading you can trust when intuition can’t see.
The discipline
An instrument does not flatter, and it does not guess. For a company whose product is incorruptible measurement, the honesty is the positioning.
What we believe

The machines are not forming opinions. They are detecting coherence.

AI does not judge a brand. It reads it — as a pattern of signals — and recommends accordingly.

A brand that contradicts itself reads as risk, whatever the truth.

The shift
A brand that is coherent, well-referenced and consistent reads as trustworthy. A brand that contradicts itself across the surface reads as risk, whatever the truth.
Why it is the whole of it
That single shift — perception as detected coherence — is what most organisations have not yet measured. It is the whole of what Pitot exists to address.
The founder

Andrea Maticevic

Twenty years at the intersection of premium brands, motorsport and data.

The advice is worth what the seat behind it was worth.

The seats
Senior roles across Ferrari, McLaren Automotive and Octo Telematics — three organisations that sit at different points of the same problem: a brand whose meaning is carried by objects, by racing, and by data respectively, each one obsessive about precision and each one measured constantly by people outside it.
The through-line
Brand on one side, data on the other, and twenty years spent in the gap between them — the place where a marketing decision meets the evidence that should have informed it, and frequently did not.
  • Marketing strategy and brand management in categories where precision is baseline
  • Motorsport and sponsorship — the most public, least forgiving form of brand exposure there is
  • Digitalisation and large-scale telematics data, at the point it became a commercial asset
  • Activations, events and planning — the execution end, where strategy either holds or does not
Why this firm
The brands in those seats had every instrument except the one that mattered next. They could measure spend, reach, sentiment and sales. They could not measure what a machine says about them when a buyer asks — which is now, for a growing share of buyers, the only description of the brand that gets read at all.

How the company is built

Proprietary systems, senior people.

  • Systems first. Pitot runs on systems it builds and owns: ARES-C, the engine that uses AI to rate how AI perceives brands; the Pitot Index, the AI Brand Rating Baseline published from it; and Meridian, its marketing automation platform. The same systems measure geographic divergence and training bias across AI models developed in different regions.
  • Senior specialists around them. Around the founder sits a team of senior specialists — marketing, digitalisation, brand management — each with decades in their own field, composed for the question rather than the other way round.
  • Selective by design. We take on what we can carry at the standard the systems are held to. Advisory and bespoke work is by application.
  • Measurement first, always. No recommendation leaves Pitot without a reading behind it. Where we do not have evidence, we say so — and where the evidence contradicts what we would have advised on instinct, the evidence wins.

We have sat in the seats our clients sit in now, and made these decisions from inside them. That is the whole basis of the offer: the path we recommend is the one experience knows will hold, not the one that presents best in a deck.

We measure. We interpret. We advise. We build.
